I have been thinking about a Silver F80 for a couple of years now!
Preferably a quartz date model, which wasn't even sold in the USA. Unless, you find grey market.

I own a F70 and a F90X and I guess the F80 is functionally very similar. I like the F90X but it is slightly "bulky" and the sound when shooting is
too loud. Actually ran a film through it the other week when the family went on a weekend break to London!
It is amasing how cheap you can find some of those older Nikon cameras today... I paid 600 SEK which is approx 90 USD for my F90X. By the way - searched the Swedish online auction sites for a silver F80 but could not find any - maybe it is pretty rare !? I found numerous black ones, most often with a 28-80 mm zoom (original kit lens ?) and the price seems to be around 150-250 USD for such a kit and sometimes a second lens too. /Jon
