The construction of the Front Module of the Tokyo marked lenses appears to be different from the early Japan marked lenses. My front module with a
"61" marked Tokyo is different from a "62" Japan lens. Optically, They look close except for the color of the coating. The later lens has
different number of threads and a ~1mm rim that acts as a hold-off when screwing the lens into the mount. The "61" lens has to be backed off by this
amount to attain correct focus. Anybody have more information on the switchover?
