ebay is having a bunch of problems lately with scammers being the high bidders on items, ebay is pulling items, recently pulled the 2 sp cameras that went for $2800 only to be pulled an hour after the auction, makes it hard to bid on the items also because they are artificially inflated.

makes the case for ebays new format that they are pushing for. to be more like amazon.com with all buy it nows

high bid came in in the last minute

I noticed it too, the guy with the pair of SP's had his cameras listed twice and both times the auctions got cancelled AFTER the listing ended! Must be pretty frustrating for the seller who has waited fourteen days and still has no buyer.
The same thing happened to another big Dollar item I was watching.
Jim, have you had any similar situations? I haven't listed/sold anything on ebay lately, but it makes me think twice about it!

i have gone back to some of the auctions that i have one, but have not seen any names deleted off of the bid list. so i don't think the itmes i've won have been artificially inflated. but will keep checking

kiu,
i changed my email accounts around, so all the stuff that shows up that was linked to the ebay accounts now just gets deleted, i used to reply to them asking if they had 6 of the items cause i really need 6 5cm 1.1 lenses as quick as they possibly could send them....!
now i just delete them,,
