That being said, a camera that feels good, with smooth operation, excellent mechanices, etc. makes it more fun to use. Inspiration is an important part of photography. If you don't like your camera you probably won't make great photos either. In photography (and in life in general, for that matter) passion and joy are important factors that should not be overlooked. Enjoy your camera and make better photos. Any Nikon film camera body would have given you the same result.
Do yourself a favor and don't get sucked in to believing that this or that camera will make your photography better. The F3 is just a light-tight box with a shutter for holding film and nothing more.
